Committed to Serve – Giving Generously
Rainbow’s End, our church-owned, and operated Thrift Boutique is Open. You can shop Wednesday and Thursdays 10:30 am-3 pm. You can also support the shop by donating items Wednesday and Thursday 11 am – 2 pm. Please do not leave any items in or outside the shop when our volunteers and employees are not there to receive them. They need to be able to sort and store the items carefully, sometimes in the annex. If you cannot donate during these specific hours, please contact the store manager, Pamela Turner, at 508.428.5304. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Thank you for supporting our staff, volunteers, and the missions and ministries of our church.
It’s Summertime and the living is…
As summer becomes a very busy time, our church grows…how would you like to help on Sundays?
Please look at your calendar and let me know if you can be available for these dates either at the early or later service.
July 10, 17, 24, 31 August 7, 14, 21, 28 September 4, 11, 18, 25
Be a Liturgist
Would you like to read the scripture? A liturgist (lay reader) is needed at each service. You’ll be given the verses during the week, so you can become familiar with them.
Welcome or Usher
We are registering each person at service, much like the registration books we signed for many years. Our ushers are helping with social distancing when needed and helping all to feel comfortable in our sanctuary. We’ll pair you with someone who is very familiar with the procedures, where the light switches, where to find the coffee hour, and where the restrooms are…all the vital info!
Provide flowers for the altar
Arrangements for Sunday services are available for $50. You choose whom you wish to honor and suggest what colors would be most appropriate. Please sign up on the calendar in the sanctuary, or email, text, or call me to arrange the date you wish.
It does take many people to have our services run smoothly each Sunday. By participating in these ways, you will become much more familiar with our wonderful congregation and our church.

Yard Sale: Weather permitting our first-yard sale of the season will be on Saturday, July 9. We need helpers to set up and break down. We also need personnel to man the sale from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm. Please call JoAnn Shrum at 508-776-7614. We can always use more donations too. Give her a call if you have things to bring over.
2022 Holiday Fair: We want to bring back the super successful fair that we have had in the past and can only do that with all your help. We are looking for as many people as possible to help with our Fair. Give the office a call to sign up to help. 508-428-2811. Think about baking for the Fair. The freezer in the North basement is waiting for your yummy donation. We would like to do a 2023 calendar, note cards, and Christmas cards for this fair. That means we need pictures. Just look at your photos on your phone. There might be something that you could donate.
