February 5, 2022
Beautiful Beloveds,
Our leadership team is closely watching the downward trend of COVID-19 rates on Cape Cod. We’re making a week by week decision about in-person worship. We continue to ask those who can to please join us for outdoor, drive-in worship at 8:30am, or tune in to our livestream at 10:30am. We do not ask this lightly, but with the fervent hope and prayer the downward trend will continue. We want to do our part to slow the spread.
This Sunday, we finish up our “For Sake of Life” worship series. It is so easy to focus our attention on what we do not have, or what we cannot do. This week, we turn our thoughts to the abundance of God’s love and grace and how we are called to live that love in the world. For sake of life, we will share with all. We echo Isaiah, “Here I am, send me.” We echo the disciples desire to be a part of Jesus’ work in the world, even when it’s not what expect or imagine. Each one giving what they can from their unique giftedness, we remain, Together in Christ…Committed to Serve.
Peace,
Heather

Care for Creation
Green Tip
Celebrate Black History Month. You may not think of racial justice in relationship to the environment, but corporate and governmental practices that despoil the land or water affect people of color to a far greater degree than richer and whiter communities. Caring for creation also means working for justice. Learn more about how racial justice and environment justice are related.
