Beautiful Beloveds,
Merry Christmas! I hope that while different, your Christmas was filled with love and light. I’m so grateful to be able to take some time off to simply be and spend time with my family in this holy time of year. I’ll be resting, reading, enjoying delicious treats, games, and movies with my family. I hope you, too are finding ways to fill your heart and soul with love and laughter. It is balm for the soul.
Peace, Heather

Barnstable No Place For Hate to offer Bystander Intervention Training!
This virtual event will be held on Monday, January 25th from 7:00-8:30 pm
Bystander intervention is a practice for community members to use on how to safely intervene in instances where harm is being done to an individual or a group.
Sponsored by Barnstable No Place For Hate, this training will address the underlying elements of hate and how to respond to it. It will be interactive as we discuss specific scenarios.

Green Tip: Green Resolutions
As you look ahead to 2021: how can you live more “greenly,” and shrink your carbon footprint? Consider practices that increase your daily awareness of nature: walks, birding, gardening. Or consider actions that reduce your energy use: replacing old light bulbs, unplugging appliances, turning down the heat, etc. How can you be a better steward of our planet in the coming year?
Thank you to all who have donated towards Safe Harbor and CHAMP House through our BIC cards. What welcome Christmas gifts they will receive. Kathy Sandell
