Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt. They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, ‘These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.’ – Exodus 32:7-8

Let’s Show Pastor John Some Love!

Sunday, October 11 – Pastor Appreciation Day
October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and Sunday, October 11, Pastor Appreciation Day, is a wonderful opportunity to show Pastor John just how much he means to our church family!
We encourage everyone to take a moment to reach out and let him know how much he is appreciated. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate! Sometimes the simplest gestures mean the most.
- Send a handwritten card or note thanking him for all he does.
- Share a favorite memory or tell him how his guidance has made a difference in your life.
- Bring a small gift, flowers, or a homemade treat as a thoughtful surprise.
- Offer a prayer for Pastor John and his family.
- Simply say thank you! A few heartfelt words can go a long way.
Whether it’s a kind word, a thoughtful gesture, or a personal story, let’s take this opportunity to remind Pastor John how much his kindness, dedication, and spiritual leadership mean to all of us.
Let’s show Pastor John some love this October!

Wheels for Zeb & Barry
Rides to Sunday Worship – Volunteers Needed
We’re organizing rides for members of our church community who are eager to attend the 10:00 am Sunday service—and we’d love your help.
A sign-up calendar is available in the church office for those willing to drive.
- Zeb Olsen, who lives at 1 Buckskin Path in Centerville, is looking for a ride each Sunday.
- Barry Jones-Henry, a resident at Brookdale (just a short distance from Zeb), is also hoping to attend and would be deeply grateful for a ride.
With just one trip, you may be able to bring both to church.
Your time and kindness can make a meaningful difference, helping ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in worship and stay connected to our community.
Please stop by the church office to sign up. Thank you for being part of this effort.
