Spring Plant Sale – Join Us!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and help make our Spring Plant Sale a success.
We’re asking everyone to take part—whether by donating, volunteering, or simply stopping by to shop. This is the perfect time to tidy up your garden and share what you no longer need.
We’re accepting donations of:
- Garden statuary, cachepots, ceramic or clay pots
- Indoor plants
- Gardening manuals/books and children’s books
- Divided perennials (daylilies, hostas, irises, herbs, catmint, sedum, grasses)
- Ground cover (creeping myrtle, ivy, pachysandra, etc.)
- Bulbs (dahlia, lily, gladiolus)
Please be sure to label all plant donations.
Donations can be dropped off anytime this week on the Solarium porch, or inside if the church is open. If you need pots or help dividing or transporting plants, we’re happy to assist.
Need help or have questions? Contact:
- Dave Eaton – 508-680-6779
- Linda McKeown – 774-521-6792
Let’s come together to make this a beautiful and successful event.
Last Week to Support a Run for a Cause
There’s still time to make a difference.
Diane Huban is running the Boston Marathon in support of FamilyAid, a Boston-based nonprofit dedicated to helping families experiencing homelessness. Through comprehensive, wrap-around services, FamilyAid works to keep children safe, support parents, and help families build stable, independent futures.
Your support—no matter the amount—directly contributes to this mission.
Donations can be made by cash or check (payable to Diane Huban) and dropped off at the church.
Let’s come together in this final week to cheer Diane on and support families who need it most.
Exciting News from the Trustees

After the storm damaged the trees that lined our driveway, they have been removed. We have a proposal that Carl Riedell has worked out with Beacon Gardens to plant one Yellowwood tree on the Annex lawn and 23 Limelight Hydrangea (6 foot tall) trees along the driveway—some on each side. This will present a beautiful entrance to our church with flowers in July and August. The blossoms are beautiful through October.
These trees need new irrigation that we do not currently have and will require annual maintenance to keep them healthy and blooming for many years to come. On Easter, Pastor John will be announcing a campaign to raise at least $20,000. for this project. Beacon Gardens has given us a significant discount and will be planting the trees professionally. Donations may be made in memory or honor of a loved one, to the Glory of God, or other designation to add to the money pledged already. Please mark checks “new trees”. The trees should be planted by the end of April, so time is of the essence.
