A Beautiful World Day of Prayer at OUMC
We had a wonderful World Day of Prayer service at OUMC this past Friday. The service was prepared by the women of Nigeria, and we celebrated joining with 177 countries around the world participating in this 99th year of the global prayer movement.
The theme, “Come to me, all who are weak and heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28), reminded us of Christ’s promise of comfort and renewal. Thank you to everyone who helped lead the service and prepare the delicious Nigerian lunch that followed.
