Message: Stepping Out of the Boat: Taking a Leap of Faith
But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” – Matthew 14:28-30
Scripture: Hebrews 11:1-3, 8-10, Matthew 14:22-33

Annual Conference Report: As the representative from the Osterville United Methodist Church, I attended the UMC New England Annual Conference, themed Hope with Joy, in Danvers, MA on June 19, 20 & 21. I found the experience affirming and informative. I welcome any questions or conversations about my experience from anyone interested in learning more about this event. There was much to take-in from the 3 days. Thankfully there is information on-line at the NEAC website with details and summaries (recaps) available to folks. We are only 9 days away from Vacation Bible School! Here are a few ways you can help:
– Pray! Pray for our kids who will be attending, for our wonderful volunteers who are giving their time, for the weather, for all the activities happening, and especially that the kids will learn that they can “Trust Jesus in a Wild World!”

About All Moms Are Heroes
All Moms Are Heroes was founded in honor of Shannon Hubbard and her daughter, Maggie. Shannon was a devoted mother and passionate advocate for early childhood education. This fund supports “missing middle” families—those who earn too much for traditional aid but still struggle with the high cost of childcare and early intervention. By easing this burden, we help ensure all children get the strong start they deserve, regardless of financial barriers. 🎨 Special Opportunity from Rainbow’s End 🎨
We have a rare P. Buckley Moss painting available at Rainbow’s End for $600. The frame alone is worth that, but the true value lies in the art itself—signed and dated by P. Buckley Moss, who passed away last year. This piece is number 18 out of just 25, making it an exceptional collector’s item. There will never be another one like it! If you or someone you know would like to view or purchase this beautiful work, stop by Rainbow’s End or contact us for details.
