The Message of Reconciliation
Scripture: Galatians 2:20. 2, Corinthians 5:11-21, Matthew 5:23-24
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. – 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
(Sunday School at 10:00 am)

Annual Conference Report: As the representative from the Osterville United Methodist Church, I attended the UMC New England Annual Conference, themed Hope with Joy, in Danvers, MA on June 19, 20 & 21. I found the experience affirming and informative. I welcome any questions or conversations about my experience from anyone interested in learning more about this event. There was much to take-in from the 3 days. Thankfully there is information on-line at the NEAC website with details and summaries (recaps) available to folks. 🐻 VBS Prep UPDATE –VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL UPDATE – 7/27/25

We are only 22 days away from Vacation Bible School! Here are a few ways you can help:
– Pray! Pray for our kids who will be attending, for our wonderful volunteers who are giving their time, for the weather, for all the activities happening, and especially that the kids will learn that they can “Trust Jesus in a Wild World!”
– Come to our Decorating Day on Saturday, August 16th at 9:00 am. We will be putting on the finishing touches to our sanctuary, solarium and fellowship hall. The more hands we have, the better. We’ll be moving things, placing trees, plants, rocks and more. There will be something for everyone!
As part of our Alaskan wilderness scene, we could use the following:
- a pop-up tent and a couple of camping chairs, or other camping gear
- Navy blue, white or brown bed sheets. Because we will use push pins to hang them or paint them to fit the scene, these should be donated rather than borrowed.
- White or rainbow Christmas tree lights. We will be hanging them around the church, but please know we will do our very best to take good care of them.
- Do you have a sextant/old compass we could borrow? Or maybe a horseshoe magnet?
- We want to make sure everyone stays hydrated during the week. Can you donate a case of individual plastic water bottles to give to those who do not have their own?
Thank you very much! If you can help or donate, please see Rebecca. 508-776-1374 or Pastorrebeccam@gmail.com

About All Moms Are Heroes
All Moms Are Heroes was founded in honor of Shannon Hubbard and her daughter, Maggie. Shannon was a devoted mother and passionate advocate for early childhood education. This fund supports “missing middle” families—those who earn too much for traditional aid but still struggle with the high cost of childcare and early intervention. By easing this burden, we help ensure all children get the strong start they deserve, regardless of financial barriers.
