She will speak about the Council’s ongoing efforts and share how our church community can continue to support programs like Youth StreetReach and other vital ministries.

Join us for the 2025 Plant Sale on Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 AM to 2 PM!: As spring breathes new life into our gardens, we invite you to be part of our annual community plant sale. If you’re dividing or refreshing your garden, please consider donating any extra plants. We’re also gratefully accepting pots—plastic or clay—as well as any garden décor or tools you’re ready to pass along. From ceramic pots to gardening essentials, every contribution makes a difference!

A Holiday Fair, November 22, 2025 Do you hand sew, paint, cut, glue or machine stitch? Then we need your help at the Holiday Fair workshops! Our workshops will begin on Tuesday, May 6 from 9:00 – 12:00 at the church Annex. We have a wonderful space to gather and create ornaments and decorations to sell at our November Fair……If you have craft ideas that you have seen this winter, bring them along! We always like to try new things! The coffee is always on, the conversation is great, and you’re helping an important Fun(d) Raiser for our church! Come and Create Community!

Notes of Interest
- We thank everyone who helped us with the donations to purchase bee hives for Heifer Project International. We are still counting the money but we already have three so we are certain to reach our goal of four hives. Thanks!!!
- Thanks to those who supported the rock-a-thon and bake sale for the youth mission trip. We made $1,269.
- The children had a wonderful time at the egg hunt. The weather couldn’t have been better. We appreciate all your donations of candy and eggs.
- It’s time to think about our holiday fair jewelry tables. The red box is in the solarium on the kiosk near the door for you to donate any jewelry you no longer need. If there is anything of greater value than costume jewelry, please give it to Heather or donate it at Rainbow’s End.

A prayer box has been placed in the narthex at church. You are welcome to write down your prayers on the prayer cards provided and place them in the box.

Prayers collected from our thrift shop, Rainbow’s End, will also be added to the church’s prayer box, ensuring that all requests are held in prayer by our community.
Mission Trip to Camp Mechuwana – July 5–10 Looking for a meaningful way to serve this summer? Join us for a Mission Trip from July 5–10 at Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, Maine. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, grow in faith, and connect with others in service. Bright Promises: Supporting Our Deployed Military Personnel – Bright Promises is collecting goods to send to deployed military personnel this holiday season. We are seeking donations of: Hand warmers, Nature Valley Peanut Butter Granola Bars, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Hand Lotion, Chewing Gum. A collection box is located in the Solarium. Your generosity makes a difference. Thank you for helping us bring comfort to those serving far from home.

Rainbow’s End Shop Hours & Donation Information Rainbow’s End is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM Donations: Treasures you no longer need can be dropped off anytime the shop is open until 2:00 PM on days that we are open.

UMC-Osterville Prayer Shawl Ministry: Meets the 1st Sunday of each month from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the Solarium (October to June). All are welcome. Let us know if someone is in need of a prayer.
Coffee Hour Donation Basket: Contributions towards supplies can be made at the coffee hour table.
Donate Flowers for the Altar: If you would like to donate flowers for the altar, please sign up on the bulletin board by the restroom in the solarium and fill out a form for Jane. Leave it on her desk. The arrangements are $50.00. You may leave a check with your order or drop one off when convenient.

Fellowship Opportunities for You!
- The Church Book Group will meet on Wednesday, April 30 at 11:00 am in the parlor to discuss the book “The Giver of Stars” by Jo Jo Moyes.
- Men’s Fellowship: Every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. All men are welcome.
- Bible Study: Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM. Pastor John will go over the scripture for the following Sunday. This meeting is available on Zoom. Meeting Code #434 999 5831.
- Youth Group: Sundays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
