Church Featured News!
- Secret Prayer Pals Project: We encourage everyone to join our Secret Prayer Pal ministry. It’s a simple yet meaningful way to connect through prayer. Here’s how it works: just place your name and address in the Secret Prayer Pal box. On September 15th, you’ll draw a name to pray for. If you can’t be at church to participate, please contact Jane at the office by email or phone, and we’ll make sure you’re included. As you pray for your Secret Pal, know that someone else will be praying for you too. Over the next two months, each Prayer Pal will send at least three anonymous notes of encouragement. Then, on November 9th at the Harvest Supper, and during church on November 10th, we’ll reveal who has been praying for whom. If you don’t know the person you’re praying for, feel free to ask, and we’ll share a little about them. We hope everyone will participate, as the power of prayer is truly transformative. As Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
- SAVE THE DATE Harvest Supper: November 9th
- COME ONE, COME ALL TO OUR ANNUAL BEACH PICNIC Sunday, September 15 at 3:00 pm. Dowses Beach in Osterville. Bring your own picnic and we will provide an ice cream dessert.

- Gift Basket Room We are asking the congregation to once again help with gift baskets by donating items for a themed basket to sell at the fair, “Oh What Fun”! Baskets that we can price $25.00 – $25.00 sell fastest – but we love them all! Use your imagination. We will wrap your donation in clear cellophane and put a ribbon on it. It really helps with pricing if you leave the prices on your items. Your donations can be dropped off in the office with Jane or bought to the Annex on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00. Thanks for all your help! Sue DeMartino and Ellie Eaton
- Coffee Hour Donation Basket: There is a basket on the coffee hour table should you wish to make a contribution towards our supplies. Thanks so much to those dedicated volunteers who bake and shop, set up and clean up!
- Altar Flowers: If you would like to donate flowers for the altar, please sign up on the bulletin board by the restroom in the solarium and fill out a form for Jane. Leave it on her desk. The arrangements are $50.00. You may leave a check with your order or drop one off when convenient.
