Get Involved!
Come to Bible Study! You are cordially invited to our weekly Bible Study, held every Thursday at the church from 10 am to 11 am, where we examine the scriptures for the coming Sunday. This Sunday, we will reflect on a passage from Mark 8, where Jesus teaches us the paradox of gaining life by giving it up for His sake and the gospel.
Tables of 8 Dinner Fellowship: We warmly invite everyone to sign up for TABLES of 8, a delightful dinner fellowship that will occur once in July and once in August. Over 50 people signed up last Sunday! You can join by signing up at church or emailing Jane at the office at office@umcchurches.org. Please provide your name, email, cell number, any dietary restrictions, and whether you are open to hosting.
The purpose of Tables of 8 is to bring church members and friends together for good food and fellowship. Participants will be grouped, and hosts will coordinate meal contributions and scheduling. Single folks are encouraged to bring a friend if they wish. Acts 2:46-47 reminds us of the joy in breaking bread together and supporting one another.
There will be different Tables of 8 for July and August, so please sign up and invite others. Let’s pray for God’s blessing in making new friends within the church..
