From the Church Council:
Great News! Tonight, at the all church charge conference we officially accepted the PPPL money. The church applied for this money to help meet expenses and to continue our mission and ministry in the community. In addition to receiving money from the stimulus package, we also have received word from the conference that our mission shares will be reduced. These gifts combined with your generous offerings allowed us to comfortably approve our 2021 budget. Our church is financially on solid ground for another year. We are truly blessed!

Together in Christ—We worship, learn and grow
This Week our virtual worship will feature worship led by the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church, with Bishop Devadhar preaching. For our drive-in style worship, Pastor Heather will be preaching. Please register here.
“Why do you keep asking me to register for worship?”
I’m so glad you asked. We ask you to register so that:
- we know how many cars and people to expect and can plan accordingly
- we can contact you if we discover someone at a church event has tested positive for COVID-19. This will be handled carefully, confidentially, and following appropriate guidelines.
If you register, we will not use your contact information, without your express permission, to:
- add you to a mailing list
- solicit funds
- share your information with anyone.
“Tell me again. How can I register?”
- You may register one Sunday at a time, or for the whole month.
- You can register on-line by clicking here. You will be asked to give your name, email, and when you plan to attend. We sometimes ask questions like your favorite hymn, or something we can do to make re-entry feel safer. You’re under no-obligation to answer those questions. They are helpful to our leadership team in making future plans. If you register this way, you will receive a brief “worship notes” email the day of worship with the scripture and hymns of the day.
- Call the church office 508.428.2811 and leave a message. Tell us your name, phone number, what Sunday you plan to attend, and if anyone is planning to attend with you. For example, “Hi this is Susanna Wesley. My phone number is 123-4567. I plan to attend drive-in style worship every Sunday in April. I’ll be bringing all 17 of my children.”
- Call, text, or email Pastor Heather directly. 774.994.3645 and pastorheather@umcchurches.org. Be sure to leave your name, phone number, and what Sunday you plan to attend.

April 10: Green Your Laundry Routine
Use cold water when washing clothes to reduce energy use. Energy is needed to heat water. You can also opt for a shorter wash cycle. Only do laundry when the load is full. Not only does this save water and electricity but it also saves you money and time. Avoid using energy to dry your laundry by hanging a laundry line or using a drying rack. This cuts down on your electricity bill as well!
April Collection for Local Food Pantries: Many thanks Church Family for your donations last month of Spring Cleaning Supplies! For April we are collecting Protein and Ponchos: canned chicken, tuna packed in water in cans or pouches, canned ham, canned beans, lentils, protein bars, nuts and seeds, quinoa, oats, peanut butter, and for April Showers, adult ponchos. Please put your non-perishable donations in the large “trash can” outside the church front door.
