United Women in Faith (formally United Methodist Women)
It’s been an exciting two months as United Women in Faith. What can I say? We’ve got people talking! Word is spreading and women are signing up to inspire, influence and impact their churches and communities. Later this month, we’ll all gather at Assembly, in person in Orlando and together around the world online. This is a thrilling time to be part of United Women in Faith. We’ve been the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society, Woman’s Home Missionary Society, Ladies Aid Societies, Otterbein and Harford Circles, Woman’s Society of Christian Service, Worman’s Society of World Service, Wesleyan Service Guild, Christian Service Guild and more. For the past 50 years we’ve been United Methodist Women. This isn’t to say a name isn’t important – it is, otherwise, we wouldn’t have changed ours. It is to say that for the work we do and the Christian sisterhood we want to be, a name change is a part of how we answer God’s call to grow, change, lead, include and uplift. Follow uwfaith.org and our social media for news from Assembly 2022. I’m excited to celebrate with you this month and begin our future together. – Alnise Isiamau, President, United Women in Faith

We don’t know what we will do without them. Please stop in for some lunch and to say goodbye to these great gals.
