“The Chosen Study Group” continues on Tuesday mornings at 10 am and Thursday at 5:30 pm.
A Bible Study continues on Thursday mornings at 10am in the solarium. We are studying the scripture that will be read the following Sunday. Come when you can. Don’t worry about signing up. Don’t worry about having any experience studying the Word. Bring a friend. All are welcome.

Outreach April Collection This month we are protein. Some ideas: Canned chicken, tuna packed in water, deviled ham, spam, canned beans, canned salmon, lentils, protein bars, nuts, seeds, quinoa, oats and peanut butter.

Rainbow’s End News: The Shop is looking for spring and summer clothes for men and women. You may drop off your donations Wednesday thru Friday 11 am till 2 pm. Come volunteer at the shop. Volunteers help customers find items, price clothing and items for sale, and get first pick of all the beautiful and unique things that are donated for sale. Speak to Pamela at the shop if you are interested or send an email to Jane in our church office. office@umcchurches.org.
Pastor John is putting together a group to join the Walk for Hope on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm in Hyannis. The Youth Group will do the walk and anyone else who would like to join. It is a 3-mile course, and our goal is to raise money for HAC (Housing Assistance Corp.) Call the office if you are interested in walking.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry will be meeting in the parlor the 1st Sunday of each month between services from 9:30 – 10:00. The next dates are Sunday May 7th and Sunday June 4th.
We Need Plants! The Plant Sale is Next Saturday, May 6 at 9:00 am. If you have perennials in your yard that need dividing, please bring them in. If you don’t have any to dig up, you could bring us some flats of annuals to sell. We can also sell pots, gardening tools and any other plant related items. Please bring them to the church this week and leave them on the porch outside the Solarium doors. If you need help, give Dave Eaton a call 508-680-6779

Mission Trips to Sierra Leone in 2023: Helping Children Worldwide has announced planned mission trips to Sierra Leone, West Africa for 2023. The dates of the trips are:
- July 16-30 – Zoom Interest Meeting 2/5/23 @ 3:30 p.m., application deadline 2/12/23.
- OCT 15-29 – Zoom Interest Meeting 5/14/23 @ 1 p.m., application deadline 5/21/23.
- DEC 26-JAN 3/2024 – Zoom Interest Meeting 7/23/23 @ 3:30 p.m., application deadline 7/30/23.
