Beautiful Beloveds,
Sunday evening, my grandmother, Doris Ott Ryan Dalton, died peacefully at home. Her faith, lived daily has shaped my own. Her prayers have supported me since before my birth. As I head to West Virginia to honor her life, and grieve with family, I am so very grateful to Ed Deyton for again leading our Vespers this evening. He will also be providing coverage for me at in-person events as I self-isolate after my return.
This Sunday, Ed will be leading our in-person worship at the church. At 8:30, we’ll have a special guest. Our District Superintendent the Rev. Dr. David Calhoun will be preaching. You don’t want to miss it.
Peace,
Heather
