Psalm 46 and 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Leader: Come, people of God, and lift your hearts to the Lord.
People: We come to worship the One who gives us strength to endure.
Leader: When the road is long and the burdens are heavy, God walks beside us.
People: We will trust in the Lord, for God is our refuge and our hope.
Leader: Though we may grow weary, God’s faithfulness never fails.
People: The Lord renews our strength and sustains us day by day.
Leader: Let us encourage one another to run with perseverance the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.
People: We will worship Christ, who endured the cross, conquered the grave, and leads us into abundant life.
Leader: Come with your joys and your struggles, your victories and your trials.
All: We come to praise the God who is with us in every season and who will never leave nor forsake us. Let us worship God with thankful hearts and steadfast faith! Amen.

2 Timothy 4:2
Leader: Merciful God, You call us to trust You in every season, yet we confess that when suffering comes, we often grow weary and afraid. We question Your presence, doubt Your goodness, and lose heart when the road becomes difficult.
People: Forgive us for the times we have allowed pain to make us bitter rather than compassionate, anxious rather than prayerful, and discouraged rather than hopeful.
Leader: Forgive us when we compare our struggles to those of others, when we refuse help, or when we fail to support those who are carrying heavy burdens.
People: Lord, we confess that we have not always persevered in faith. We have been quick to complain and slow to remember Your faithfulness.
Leader: We have focused on our weakness instead of Your strength and forgotten that You walk with us through every valley.
People: Yet You are the God who sustains the weary, comforts the brokenhearted, and gives endurance to those who trust in You. Renew us by Your Spirit.
Leader: Teach us to persevere with patience, to pray with honesty, and to hope with confidence in Christ.
All: Help us to encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, who endured the cross and now reigns in glory. In His holy name we pray. Amen.
Assurance of Forgiveness
Philippians 4:13
Leader: Hear the good news! Our hope is not in our own strength or our ability to persevere, but in the unfailing grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Though we stumble, Christ remains faithful. Though we grow weary, His mercy is new every morning. Because Jesus suffered, died, and rose again, nothing—not sin, not suffering, not even death—can separate us from the love of God. In Him, we are forgiven, restored, and given the strength to endure with hope.
Therefore, receive the good news with joy: in Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven. God has not abandoned you. God walks with you, strengthens you for each new day, and promises to complete the good work begun in you.
Leader: Friends, believe the good news of the gospel:
All: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven! Thanks be to God. Amen.
