You can help serve our neighbors by packing bag lunches for the Salvation Army Miracle Kitchen. This month, we’re doing it differently. We will not be serving in the building, but simply dropping off prepared bagged lunches and the Salvation Army will take care of distribution.
We’re looking for six volunteers to make 10 bag lunches (total of 60 lunches needed.) 1 bag lunch= 2 sandwiches, juice box or something to drink, and fruit and/or dessert (brownies are very popular)
Sandwiches must be wrapped individually. Please place in small paper bag and label the outside of the bag with the type of sandwich inside. Condiments are provided at the Salvation Army.
Drop off at UMC Osterville: 57 Pond St, 9:50-10:10am, Tuesday, April 7 in the parking lot right outside the front door, not inside the building,
If you prefer, you can drop it off at the Salvation Army no later than 10:30.
Please call Gail Bennett 508-420-7978 to let her know you’re willing to make bagged lunches and where you would like to drop them off. Thank you in advance for your generosity. The Salvation Army relies on the generosity of our community to feed our vulnerable neighbors. If you have any questions please call Gail.
This could not happen without you!
