Beautiful Beloveds,
As our stewardship month draws to close, I invite you reflect on the ways God is using you to bless others. How is God using your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness to resist evil, bind up the broken-hearted, feed the hungry and build the kindom of God? And what are you holding back?
Some of us get so caught up in doing, we forget that God needs us to be present and prayerful: to God, for our families and our neighbors. Some of us get stuck in old patterns, serving in the same ways, and we miss that God might be calling us to use our gifts in some new way. Some of us, need an annual service tune up, a time to reevaluate how we serve God and our neighbor, and where we’re just going through the motions. And some of us need to focus on our witness, to pay attention to the ways we’re living the love of God in our homes, at work, in our leisure, while we’re driving, while we’re in the community.
As we move into 2021, what one change is God inviting you to make to go deeper in discipleship, and follow more faithfully in the footsteps of Jesus?

Gifts
What about pledge cards and envelopes? You should have received your pledge card form in your email. If you need them, the envelopes are in the church office. Please contact Jane Gray in the office, 508.428.2811 or office@umcchurches.org to set up a time to pick yours up.
Service and Witness
January Food Collection for Local Food Pantries: We are collecting breakfast foods such as cereal, pancake mix, pancake syrup, oatmeal, pop tarts, jelly, peanut butter, canned fruit, etc. The homeless are also very much in need of new underwear and socks. Please put your non-perishable donated items in the large black labeled container to the right of the church front door.
Need a little help?
Beginning February 1, Meri Toler, Louise’s daughter, will be available and is offering support with tasks, errands, projects, needs including things such as:
> cleaning
> deep cleaning/clean out/purging projects
> organization/re-organization projects
> reasonable snow removal – shovel steps, walks, manageable driveways;
> salt or sand
> spring clean ups, pruning, raking, planting
> shopping
> delivery
> errands
> painting
> creative eye consultation/assistance for redecorating, rearranging
> projects
> inventorying/organizing collections
> medium sized dump runs/recycling/redemption/donation (small car – no> truck)
Meri would of course, observe all COVID safety guidelines. Rather than a set fee, Meri will accept love offerings.
