A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny. Then he called his disciples and said to them, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury. For all of them have contributed out of their abundance; but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.” Mark 12:38-44

Rides to Sunday Worship – Volunteers Needed
We’re organizing rides for members of our church community who are eager to attend the 10:00 am Sunday service—and we’d love your help.
A sign-up calendar is available in the church office for those willing to drive.
- Zeb Olsen, who lives at 1 Buckskin Path in Centerville, is looking for a ride each Sunday.
- Barry Jones-Henry, a resident at Brookdale (just a short distance from Zeb), is also hoping to attend and would be deeply grateful for a ride.
With just one trip, you may be able to bring both to church.
Your time and kindness can make a meaningful difference, helping ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in worship and stay connected to our community.

New Branding Guidelines for Church Flyers, Posters & Posts!
Making a flyer, a poster, a table sign, or a social media post for the church? We now have simple Branding Guidelines to help everything we create look like it comes from one congregation — because it does!
Drawn from our website, ostervillechurch.com, the guidelines cover:
- Our logo — the cupped hands holding the turquoise starfish. Please use it just as it is: don’t stretch it, recolor it, or add effects.
- Our colors — Deep Teal, Panel Teal, Starfish Turquoise, and Warm Gold, on Warm Cream instead of stark white.
- Our fonts — Merriweather for headlines and Lato for everything else. Both are free from Google Fonts.
- Our photos — real pictures of our church, our gardens, and our people work best of all.
- Our voice — warm, plain, and welcoming: “You Are Welcome Here!”
You don’t need to be a designer — the guide is short, friendly, and full of examples, including the new “Looking for a church?” invitation. To get a copy, contact the church office.
Thank you for helping everything from Osterville United Methodist Church look — and sound — like home. Together in Christ… committed to serve.
